Saw Wood Job! on RED, a late-coming-of-age film. It ended with the boy going back to the mountain village although, in reality, after one year of immersion elsewhere one is only too glad to be back home where one belongs.

It ended the way it ended because the film is really about how the traditionalist Japanese respect and honor nature, something that we still do in the Cordilleras.
