The last time I measured Aubrey for her pullover she admired the knitted work in progress and asked, "Grandpa, how did you learn how to do that?" She doesn't remember the summer workshops held in our house by Coats Manila Bay in which Ivy, Chito, Angelique, my sister Alice, and some of the Spirit Questors participated. Aubrey must have been barely in pre-school then.

This afternoon I lent her a pair of straight needles, some yarn, and the very same book I learned from. I hope that she will benefit from it.
