Memoirs of Service: Graham Webster

We Find  Each Other Against All Odds

Graham had been Human Resources Officer for more than a year, and I a Cultural Affairs Specialist for many years, before I met his wife, Ana Laura, with whom I shared many things, including oil painting. Ana Laura told her husband about me, and we met up in the office. I was surprised to learn that Graham was a Tensegrity master, had studied all of Carlos Castaneda's books, and had an extensive library in Tensegrity exercises. I in turn introduced to him John and Tyla, whose parents were employees and who were my students in magic at the time.

We gave up many lunch breaks just to do lessons in the Masculinity Series in the Multipurpose Room. Before leaving the country Graham bequeathed to me a lot of Carlos Castaneda books and videotapes containing Tensegrity exercises, all of which I still keep, of course. I have, as a matter of fact, incorporated many Tensegrity exercises in my "Writing from The Heart" workshops, particularly for drug abusers in rehabilitation.

Among the items from Graham that I treasure is a diaphragm weight he gave me. I use it for healing. I am also very thankful that he taught me how to use the clicking sticks. To me they are wands. I always travel with them. I do remember, though, that he told me to make them produce sounds only when necessary, and that I and no one should ever play with them.

I still feel very close to Graham and Ana Laura although I know that we may never see each other again.
