Watched Blade on HBO last night and enjoyed it all over again from the time I first saw it on the big screen. I like the special effects, which are quite good considering the decade the movie was made in (the opening and closing titles actually date the movie).

I remain dissatisfied with ALL vampire movies in general, however, because:

--Why make two puncture marks on a victim's neck when you can suck with only one mouth?
--Why make an effort to look goth at all?
--Burning-in-the-sunshine does not make sense to me.
--Neither does the crucifix or cross thingy.
--Same with the garlic thang.
--And so with the silver whatsy.

All those things I mentioned actually make vampire movies predictable and boring,
