Intelligence is contagious, stupidity is not. Everyone naturally gravitates from a state of stupidity to a state of intelligence.

Do not, therefore, resent stupid people, because they are in a state that you used to be in.

If you are the stupid one, do not resent people who are more intelligent than you are, for you will eventually be as they are.

The seed of intelligence is inborn, but it needs to be nurtured to full blossom.

However, intelligence can also be acquired in the same way one acquires wealth--by saving up some money a little at a time.
