Some tips to fellow writers and painters:
When your forearms, hands, and fingers ache as though carpal tunnel is setting in and there is no one to give you a deep-tissue arm massage, do the following:
1) Sit on your hands on a hard chair five minutes at a time.
2) Lie on the floor and place your forearms, hands, and fingers under your body. Rock your body gently from side to side. Again, do this five minutes at a time.
3) Lie in bed on your side in a curled-up, fetal position. Put your palms together and place them between your knees. Again, do this five minutes at a time.
Your body weight will always be the correct weight that gives the right pressure.
Try it. The feeling of relief is great!
